Take Care Review

Take care is an alright album. Drake does his thing on a couple songs, but for the most part it is just sappy love songs. “Headlines” is a really awesome song. It really exemplifies Aubrey’s talent at rapping fast and also keeping the melodical aspect  of his style in play. The song “Underground Kings” pays homage to his mentor and role model, Bun-b. This song really shows that drake can be diverse with his vocabulary. The album features collaborations with the hottest rappers in the game right now. The track “The Motto”, Featuring lil Wayne, Is one of the hottest singles out right now. You can really tell that he wanted “take care” to be one of his most definitive albums, because of the level of emotion in every one of his songs. “Marvin’s Room” Another one of the hottest singles in the past year, really lets you take a look into the life of Drake, and how he feels about women. All in all “take care” is one of the most popular albums in the past decade, but I feel like there are a multitude of other more underground artists that were more deserving of this succsess. I would give this album a 3/5.
